Alton, IL is located 25 miles north of St. Louis along the Mississippi River. It is a large Tourism area with thousands descending into the area all year long to enjoy the Great River Road, local shopping and view the winter migration of bald eagles. Alton was a Main Street Finalist town and the first place award Winner for the show Small Business Revolution. 346 is the only full size digital structure in the Alton area - which is already very limited in Out of Home inventory. Homer Adams Parkway is the main artery connecting residents and commuters from East Alton, Wood River and Godfrey to the St. Louis area. It is packed with a variety of small businesses, restaurants, big box stores and all the major brand car dealers in the area. Alton is home to Lewis and Clark Community College and the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Residents and travelers have access to Amtrak and Metro East transit from Alton.
